News Release: ACICS Accreditation
On April 13, 2015 Victory Trade School received its official Accreditation Letter from the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools! This concludes a 1 1/2 year process and a big thank you to the VTS staff for the extra hours, nights and weekends that were put in to make this happen. We could not be more excited as a school to offer our students a quality education that is backed by a nationally renowned accreditor.
A little about ACICS: Founded in 1912, ACICS is the largest national accrediting organization of degree granting institutions. They accredit professional, technical and occupational programs, and are one of two national accreditors recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
Victory Trade School is also certified to operate by the Missouri Department of Higher Education (MDHE). The Culinary Arts program uses curriculum from the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) and the Family Science department uses curriculum that supports the Child Development Associates (CDA) certificate. VTS is committed to excellence and receiving our accreditation through ACICS is further proof of that commitment.
